Re: Licence change?
The codebase I am now using is not the same as the codebase in the repo, it is copyright me and some other developers and not publicly available. Roger, Am I among the "some other developers" or did you replace every line of code I wrote before ever releasing a "not publicly available" firmware? No...

Re: What are the hardware band limits of the radio
The RF IC simply can't operate in this range.

Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)

Re: GD77S TG9 not heard
I have loaded the latest firmware and software and voice file. However, TG9 announcements still do not come through. So, when I try to transmit to Audio Test or Disconnect, nothing is heard. Do you have any suggestions? Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks and 73! What do you mean by "TG9 annou...

Sorry for the delay, I'd not heard that person on for a few days.
I can confirm the bug is still present on that version you asked me to test (https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 0.12.29.02)
That rules out a problem with the USB data rate

Re: [Not technically possible] Firmware extraction
Looking for help to extract the factory firmware from a radio to allow restoring it if desired. For most this is not an issue because the factory firmware is available for download. However, this is not always the case. The dealer also was unable to provide the factory firmware. If this is a diffic...

Re: [Corrupted official firmware] Radio won't enter the bootloader
After talking with the good folks at Radioddity The bootloader corrupted its self and I will have to exchange out that unit to get a new one. Bad luck for me but good to know that I was not going crazy. Thanks you all who responded with advice on the matter. OK. If Radioddity weren't willing to giv...

Re: New Member
Digital contacts are used for TalkGroups and for people you want to call using the DMR Private Call system (supported on some networks) Depending on which network you use, you may need to use the DMR ID database system so that the radio shows the Callsign and name of the station you are receiving On...

Re: Another HAM-friendly scan feature: "Zone Link"
IMO The primary use of the firmware is not as a scanner Also its impractical to have the entire functionality of the CPS in the radio. Its very easy in the CPS to make a Zone for each group of channels you want to scan, and often these channels are already in a zone, eg Marine channel!s. And as Coli...

Re: Scan priority
Colin Thanks. I miss understood what scan priority normally does. In that case I'm not sure how much point there would be in spending a lot of time and effort implementing this for Amateur radio. As these radios are relatively cheap, the better option to for people who need to monitor multiple chann...
