Hide invalid options in OpenGD77 CPS
Someone I've told about OpenGD77 refuses to use it because he thinks it's 'broken' and it just turns out that he's trying options in the CPS which are invalid, such as Basic, Menu, Numbers, Buttons, etc. I know Buttons has been talked about to be customizable sometime, but can this kind of stuff be ...

Re: Can't get into firmware update mode, has anything changed?
Roger, I'm pondering taking my GD77 apart to see if there's anything I could possibly do to improve my SK2, I know this is a hard soldered little daughterboard with collapsing buttons etc, and I suppose the buttons just have a nub on the inside that pushes against the button. I haven't seen pictures...

Re: Can't get into firmware update mode, has anything changed?
Worn out buttons? Black works perfectly, blue requires a firmer push, always has, but it's working perfectly fine for showing Last Heard, works 100% of the time when using the radio. But booting into firmware update mode right now is maybe 1 of 10 times. Thats strange Possibly a bug in the official...

Re: CPS Updated
BTW, in case anyone else has created desktop shortcuts like me and is confused; the latest version (at some point?) is installing to a different path, so I personally kept launching the old version by accident and wondering where the language support is.

[Bug in the official firmware] Can't get into firmware update mode, has anything changed?
No matter what I do, black button seems to work fine when booted, blue works fine, but I can not boot into firmware mode holding both while powering on, it just boots right to the radio like I wasn't pushing any buttons. Am I missing something? If it matters, current FW is 20:41:56, June 3, 0690263 ...

Re: Modification of the Radioditty charger with "TP5100" card at $ 2.
I put the new tp15100 module with the original 500mAh charger of the radioddity DG-77 and my surprise charges in only 3 hours, before with the original cpb it took 6 hours + - . From which I deduce that that original PCB or board absorbed part of the energy or limited it. You don't want to use the ...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX
Ha, so today on 2W on a modest antenna on the roof at 30ft, which is about 20ft HAAT for a 1 mile radius, I had looked at heywhatsthat and noticed a spot I know well has a big red blob for line of sight, and it's right at 5.5 miles away. I brought the big antenna and my homebrew yagi and drove into ...

Re: Modification of the Radioditty charger with "TP5100" card at $ 2.
I have a source from a charger liitokala 500 that gives 12.5volt and 2amper. Something that if I have won is to avoid the annoying noise that is generated when the battery 100% is above 8.3 + -volt (it generated a small hum the amplifier) . Thank you Sounds like you have this issue, which some do. ...
