Re: Problem with the MD-380 radio
BTW. I have not had time to do any testing with any other radios. There have been 3 updates from 3 different developers and also a bug I fixed in FM squelch I will try to find time to test with some other radios tomorrow, it would be good if other forum members could post about what radios they have...

Re: Problem with the MD-380 radio
Just reloading the firmware should put you back to version 0.0.6 You can also press the Blue / Function key when booting the radio as this will clear the settings. But the settings should automatically clear when you install the old version, as the settings contain a version number and if it doesn't...

Updated font test version from Daniel F1RMB
The main text font used in the OpenGD77 firmware is the font used by the official firmware, which is not particularly good Daniel F1RMB has been investigating some alternative fonts, and has submitted an update to change the medium and large font I think its an improvement, but some of the letters, ...

Tests with other radios??
Can people post their experience with using the latest hotspot version with other radios as the HT. I have a report of it not working with a MD-380, but version 0.0.6 worked OK. I have a MD-380, GD-73, DM-1801 and RD-5R and one other cheap DMR radio, however I only had time to test with my other GD-...

Re: Problem with the MD-380 radio
OK. I have a md380. So I can test this. FYI. I found problems with my md380 connecting to my mmdvmhs hat hotspot, and had to set a different offset on the hat hotspot to make it work. Also sometimes to make a md380 connect to a hotspot the modulation level needs to be changed on the hotspot, but I d...

Re: Hello from K7XRL
Hi Ron FYI, With the changes to support 6.25KHz steps, the frequency resolution is now down to 10Hz, but the min step size remains the same Unfortunately I cant add new step sizes, and remain compatible with the official codeplug format. Actually, I think the frequency resolution isn’t really 10Hz, ...

Re: Hotspot mode 0.0.72 etc
OK.
I think its stable enough to let more users test this.
Press and hold the Black button when you turn the radio on.
Note.
This version should not be considered as 100% stable. Its not recommended that you leave it unattended for long periods of time
