I put back one of my radios to the stock firmware without backing up these registers. Apparently there was no harm since I was able to boot the radio normally after that. As discussed on github, this problem is under investigation, and I am not accepting updates which will effect operators who do not have problems with CTCSS and squelch and over deviated signals.
