How to load the firmware on the RD-5R?
I am using the latest OPENGD77 CPS and I downloaded the latest RD-5R firmware (Experimental JUNE 11). I was able to read the existing CPS from the radio into the OPENGD77 CPS. Then I put the radio in firmware update mode, selected the firmware update tool from the CPS, selected the RD-5R from the bu...

Re: Updated GM1YME UK Codeplug with a Scottish Flavour
Thank you! My kids live in the UK and I use to be there often (before COVID-19).
Hopefully I will be able to travel again soon and get the codeplug loaded into my GD-77.
I normally use the Moonraker codeplug on my B-Tech 6x2, but it will be nice to be able to use the GD-77 also.
Tks.

Re: Experimental Baofeng RD-5R version
Many thanks. I will load the firmware tomorrow on one of my RD-5R radios.
I will keep the other with the original firmware for comparison purposes.

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [3/20][GD-77]
Hi, I might have found a bug on the 3/30 version or it was a coincidence with the blank display on the GD-77. I was trying to adjust the display and I selected the reversed mode, increases the contrast to 20, decreased the brightness to 80, then I tried to limit the number of seconds the display wou...
