Re: can't hear most transmissions. why?
With that setting turned on the radio hears all private calls, including those not addressed to your radio. I have just checked this by making a private call between two other radios whilst listening with an OpenGD77 radio. The OpenGD77 radio received both sides of the call. I am not sure that this...

Re: can't hear most transmissions. why?
I wish there was a way to make the radio let us hear private calls. I use my radio to monitor public safety as well as use for ham radio use. The talk group on the pubic safety isn’t using encryption but they are using private calls to keep others from hearing. I know I can get around this by using ...

Re: Recent versions of firmware will be removed

Re: Recent versions of firmware will be removed
Because of constant complaints, about the badly drafted software license on the project, I am being forced to remove all recent builds of the firmware from being downloaded. If anyone would like to download the current, or any version of the firmware before the builds are removed, you can do this u...

Re: Yet another CPS for Linux and MacOS X
For now, it does not support the update of firmware and voice files. For this, I would rather resort to separate programs. qdmr aims at being "device independent" CPS. Updating the firmware etc is a rather device-specific task. So, I do not plan to add these features in the near future. Sorry for t...

Re: Yet another CPS for Linux and MacOS X
I hope too :D. However, there appears to be a problem with current release running in Rosetta on new ARM macs. This is hopefully only a Qt issue that can be fixed by linking to a newer Version of Qt (the library used for the graphical user interface). I haven’t installed it yet. I have a 2014 Mac m...

Re: Yet another CPS for Linux and MacOS X
Hope this takes off real good. This would make it one of the last reasons I have to keep a windows VM installed on my Mac.
