I manged to borrow a Baofeng RD-5R cable and now everything is working.

So just to confirm that Anytone cable is not compatible with Baofeng DMR radios (DM-1701, 1801, RD-5R).

Not to create another post with the similar question:
Could someone please confirm that the DM-1701 needs a specific cable?
Namely I have two cables that work with Anytone 878, but I can not get the to work with my new DM-1701

Sorry to bring up this top after a year of inactivity.
I would like to use my OpenGD77 radio on a single frequency repeater. Were there any advances in the firmware that would allow the use on a SFR with good audio? Any particular settings or programing that would make it possible?
