Colin and I have made some progress with understanding why the firmware will not run on the new radios The CPU in this radio does not seem to have the same number of Interrupt priorities as a genuine STM32F407 CPU. It seems to only have 8 levels of interrupt, not 16, and the operating sustem FreeRT...

I'm gonna buy another of this radios in case the newer ones never get supported. Does anyone know if this problem is present too with the MD-UV390 (not 380) GPS version? I suppose it is, as internally they are the same radio, but I hope they are using older stock for the 390. I just asked the selle...

Well... this radio is a stone. Radio don' transmit, or reset ... or hear fm when in DMR mode... but sometimes works fine... (5 seconds, only)
