Re: Recent versions of firmware will be removed
Hello Roger, I'm speaking on behalf of the OpenRTX team. Reading your last message we realized that we mistakenly did not give proper attribution in the code we derived from OpenGD77. We fixed this with commit 2ff92b on our master branch, which gives proper attribution to such portions of code. We d...

Re: Documentation for the AT1846S
By the way Roger, we didn't mean to use your work without giving due credit. We did not directly include any OpenGD77 source into our project, however OpenGD77 was a very good reference when writing our code. We will rewrite the credits statement in our repo to reflect that. But feel free to speak u...

Re: Documentation for the AT1846S
Thank you Roger and Colin,
we'll keep reversing and putting together what we learn, OpenGD77 is a good working example for this.
In the end we'll discover all the hidden corners of our hardware!

Documentation for the AT1846S
Hi everyone, I'm a developer of the OpenRTX project, We haven been quiet for some time. In the meantime we've made some progress with our devices, achieving analog FM on both the MD380 and MD390. The MD-UV380/90 will follow next, but we could get there much faster by having some more documentation on...

Re: GD55 plus / MD-9600 ?
Hi OH0KCE,
if you have a GD55+ radio, would it be possible for you to open it and shoot some high-resolution photos of the PCB?
So that we can understand which MCU and baseband are used by that radio.

Building on Linux
Hello everybody, me and a group of fellow OpenGD77 lovers (IU2KWO, IU2NRO) had the idea to try to build OpenGD77 on Linux using just using standard building tools (make, gcc). This would help in the following cases: - Automated build-servers - Porting the code to other platforms (for STM32 based rad...

Hello from IU2KIN
Hello,
my name's Niccolò, currently transmitting from northern Italy!
As a computer engineer I plan to contribute actively to the project,
right now I'm probing if OpenGD77 could be ported to the MD380.
