Prior to updating with factory 2.03 firmware, the speaker mics worked without a problem. Post upgrade, the speaker mics do not work. They do ...

Re: MD-9600 - FM monitor mode and reverse repeater operation, possible bug ?
Hi, Hello, When MD-9600 is set for reverse repeater operation (# key), the squelch is no longer changed to be fully open thanks to P1 (SK2) button. Fortunately Left or Right keys, still controls the FM squelch. I noticed the same behavior on my RD-5R too. 73 - Jean-Roger True, there is a problem her...

Re: Open MD9600 timeslot problems
No, you just have to read the manual, manual TS override has the highest priority.
Set options-> display options -> info to both.
About power settings, master power is used, unless power per channel is defined.

Re: MD-UV390 scan nuisance malfunction
Set the zone skip to these channels, this way they will be ignored while scanning (in channel mode, not VFO, of course).

Re: "Prompt" to "Silent" disables all audio signalling options
This is not about voice prompts, but about beep prompts. I hope that it's okay to put that in here anyways. I like the "Talker" signalling option as it has the valuable "heads up" effect if some activity arises, but I don't want to have the keypad/input/feedback beeps at the same time. But if you s...
