OpenGD77

Have installed OpenGD77 on 2 TYT md uv390's and I am impressed. I watch a couple of Youtube video's and all went well. I'm still learning all the bell's and whistles in the software. Why is it when I look for firmware and click on it I get I always get "The requested page could not be found." Thanks

Does opengd77 write the contact data base to the radio or do you have to download it manually. Thanks

Is it just a crap shoot on buying any uv390 plus or non plus then?

If it doesn't work will it brick the radio? Is there a way to save the original firmware and reinstall it as I don't see it on TYT website? Thanks for your quick response. Mike
