Re: [From May 29th] New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Hi, Hi, Thanks for this information. I just tried, BlueDV is working with TCPUART until 1.2.3 (included). Something is broken in 1.3.x versions. Cheers. --- Daniel Hi Daniel, Thanks for this information. I too was able to get BlueDV for Android working in Hotspot mode using TCPUART 1.2.3. Lots of p...

Re: [From May 29th] New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Hi, Hello Roger, first of all I would like to thank all of you developers for the enormous work to make this great software survive. About the problem with BlueDv as a hotspot even before the last OpenGd modification it was not working. I have tried to use the version of TCPUART 1.2 and everything ...

Re: Is there any intention to continue this wonderful project?

You guys are awesome. I just flashed three GD-77 radios with the new process. Simple, elegant and seamless. It is totally amazing that you have been able to accomplish this in such a short period of time. Thanks to everyone so much. Your work is appreciated. (LOL) 2 months solid work by 2 people ;-...

Re: Is there any intention to continue this wonderful project?

Roger and team, this is exciting news. While it is a huge amount of work, it will eventually improve OpenGD77 because the new code will all have been produced "in house." It also fortifies the project to stand up on its own into the future.

Best wishes,

-Rick

Re: [Sunday tests] Updated firmware loader.

The terminal window opens and stays blank. The FW still loads. It appears to lose the status message only if the dir has a space in the filename. Hi Daniel, ---snip/snip --- The loader also does not like spaces in the directory name. Eng v103_170830 has a space. If the space is there you lose the st...

Re: [Sunday tests] Updated firmware loader.

Hi Daniel, I had a Firmwareloader problem with GD-77 not found on several Win 10 x64 systems. "Unable to detect your radio." I extracted the new loader into the directory that held the files for the old loader update.exe. It was that way on all 3 systems I tested. When I tried a 4th system the old l...

Re: Update 18th Jan

Yes my Nextion screen works with Transparent Data disabled. This is probably the answer. Transparent Data is for Nextion connected to the serial pins on the HAT. With Transparent Data enabled the driver probably is still trying to communicate with the HAT and finds the GD-77 instead. Or the screen i...
