JA versions are the Japanese version.

If you are not Japanese you should probably use the normal version

Bin files are the direct output from the compiler / linker

OK Well, you guys seem to be the only people who have 'hot' mic's on DMR as far as I'm aware. The default mic gain on FM may be a little high, but its only noticable on repeaters that use CTCSS as it can cause clipping due to overdeviation of the FM TX signal messing with the repeater's demodulation...

You can connect a programmer to the CPU in the radio, but you will not be able to read the firmware because all radios enable the Read Protection in the CPU You can erase the CPU but then your radio would be useless. Its very strange all of your radios have a very loud mic, when had no one else every had this problem

Are you using the mic that came with each radio.

Overdeviation and clipping because of CTCSS common. Try speaking quieter or reduce to the mic gain
