Re: New Beta 2023 09 15

Loving the new distances function. This is NOT a feature request but me day dreaming. Auto switch to repeaters based on a defined distance. :-)

Re: Google safe browsing blocks site

I would have thought there would be a procedure to challenge/correct googles blocking behaviour? Otherwise it becomes ripe for abuse by trolls.

Cheers.

Re: MD9600 and Calibration data - adjustable?

8A?! That's good to know and starts to feel right re what I am seeing. Mind you having 20A fuses seems odd. That along with what other similar radios delivering 40-50W were documented as pulling at max out is where I go expectations from. Maybe I read things wrong but that is where the ~15A came fro...

Re: MD9600 and Calibration data - adjustable?

Re the screens - awesome. Thanks.

Re output power, will borrow/buy a meter to measure RF watts. I had been going on the probable max current draw derived from the fuses and what I had managed to find online.
Tests had been done in VHF.

MD9600 and Calibration data - adjustable?

Just wanted to check, re the calibration screens, per the manual they are not applicable to the MD9600. Assuming that is still current is there a method to perform calibration adjustments on the MD9600? I did do a forum topics seach for the word "calibration" but didn't get any hits. Thanks for any ...

Re: FM APRS

New 4th Sept firmware (bug fix for 3rd Sept) is great! Kudos to VK3KYY and team. Have loaded it on to UV390 and MD9600(V5). Performed "static" tests from home after setting up new APRS configs with latest versino of CPS. Worked nicely. Tested it on trip into work this morning doing periodic triggers...

Re: Channel Scan Nuisance Marking behaviour clarification

@Daniel - thank you for updates to the documentation. Behaviour is aligned now and as you noted it's not "*" but short press on Up Arrow (or equivalent on mic) for the MD9600 to mark a channel in channel scan as "nusance"

Cheers - J.

Channel Scan Nuisance Marking behaviour clarification

Hello - in using channel scan on the MD9600 I am seeking clarification on the expected behaviour of the nusance marking feature. The documentation states: Press the Right arrow to mark the channel as a nuisance channel which will be removed from the current scan. Press the Star key on a MD-UV380 | R...
