Re: CPS R2024.03.09.01 Radio Shut Down?
I can confirm that it is the "Safe Pwr-on" option that triggers this behaviour. I noticed this happening a couple of weeks ago, but eventually decided it wasn't an unreasonable side effect of selecting "Safe Pwr-on" (I've only just started using this option), so I didn't bother raising it as a bug. ...

Re: Privacy Setting in CPS
It's not there because encryption is not supported by OpenGD77 - see the list of unsupported features under the "General" area of the forum for full details.

Re: Zone Hide Feature
For what it's worth, my approach to this is to use the CPS to sort my zones in order of how likely I am to want to use them - so, at the top of my Zone list I have my hotspot zone, then my local repeater zone, the the two adjacent repeater coverage areas, where I am most likely to travel. Zones cove...

Re: Troubleshooting a mute radio :-(
I'll take our word for that - I've never bothered with TG91 - it sounds about as interesting as a DX competition.

Re: Talkgroup lists
As indicated in the forum FAQ section, the OpenGD7 user manual can be found at https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_UserGuide A careful read of that and reading any relevant sounding posts in the appropriate sections of the forum will provide the answers to most questions about OpenGD77 - it certain...

Re: Troubleshooting a mute radio :-(
The constant and apparently random receive activity is pretty much normal for DMR.
I've never been able to get any audio back from a "parrot" TG - so I flagged that and did my testing with a real QSO, much more interesting.

Re: No audio glitch
While I've not seen this during a QSO, it does happen occasionally when I'm listening to other's QSO on my hotspot - mine is a dual MMDVM hat on a Rasp Pi 3B. I'm seem to recall that there is an older thread on this same issue, but no resolution or theories came out of that. I haven't seen the issue...

Re: Coming from stock codeplug to OpenGD format... how to convert?
As mentioned by Toni EA3V, the concept behind OpenGD77 and its handling of radio programming is very different from the commercial CPS. As a simple example, say the 300 channels you currently have were to consist of 30 repeaters with the same 10 TGs programmed on each one, giving 300 channel entries...

Re: Google safe browsing blocks site
Then stop using chrome, it's bad for your privacy and multiple other valid reasons ;-) (not kidding). Cheers. --- Daniel Unfortunately it's not that simple - I use Firefox with Temporary Containers plugin and I don't use Google as my search engine. I still get this screen from Google now. My guess ...
