Re: MMDVM Repeater
Had some time to toy around with the station. I noticed an interesting thing. When I use Brandmeister, I don't have any issues with the audio chopping. It's smooth as it should be. However, when I switch to my MMDVM server, which is the problematic one, it chops, no matter what I do with the setting...

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [4/5][GD-77]
Just upgraded to the latest code (1.54) I don't know if this was there before, I never ran into it, but I tried to program a repeater with digital CTCSS codes and that is a problem. There is nothing in the on radio UI for that and if I program it via the CPS, which allows me to program those I get ...

Re: MMDVM Repeater
There is probable some secret sauce which we may be missing, which controls the DMR chip internal operation. However as there is incomplete documentation for the DMR chip is very hard to know what that secret sauce is. I recommend you hook up a logic analyser to the C6000 and compare the commands t...

Re: MMDVM Repeater
I'm using Vertex VX-2200 radios. Our repeater has Motorola (ex. Vertex) VX-2100 UHF transceivers and GD77 with OpenGD77 works fine. Should be compare our repeater radio settings? 73 de vA I recognize your callsign now. I emailed you a couple weeks ago asking about these radios. I have an LTR trunki...

Re: MMDVM Repeater
I'm using Vertex VX-2200 radios. I have adjusted everything within the proper specifications to make it work by using an SDR receiver. It is only the OpenGD77 that it will not work with. It seems okay when on simplex mode. That's what is so odd about it. No problems with stock firmware or other radi...

[Solved] MMDVM Repeater w/ HBlink
I just built an MMDVM repeater. I have an interesting problem that only exists on the OpenGD77 firmware. If I tune my MMDVM repeater using MMDVMCAL, I can fine tune the transmitter as necessary and use the test pattern calibration for CC1 ID1 TG1 and it works with no issue as simplex. Now when I put...

Re: Should we have a weekly openGD77 net?
This does sound like a pretty cool idea. I imagine it may be difficult due to the world time differences. But perhaps something could be done to have a secondary net to better coordinate with the time zones.

Re: [No response from OP] Hotspot Mode Exits When No Internet
I'm revisiting this issue. To this day, hotspot mode exits if the Pi loses internet for any period of time. After so many times. You need to restart the Pi to get it working again. I had a lot of issues keeping it going during an extended 2,000 mile trip I just finished. I saw a report on Facebook o...
