Re: Audio trouble sometime - UV390

This is not a repeater problem. For this issue I bought another rt3s. The first one has the original firmware, the second one has opengd77. During rx only opengd77 has errors or no rx when rssi. Original works fine. The opengd77 team is doing a lot of work and many thanks for that. But I guess they ...

Re: Battery Eliminator & Leather Case for Retevis RT3S

I'm using such an adapter. There is a converter inside the battery. IMO it is good if you transmit with a power of 1W. At 5W it gets warm during longer conversations. I removed it and left the casing and inserted the XL4016 with heat sinks between the plug and the battery. Works better. 73, Kris, SP...

Hi.
Check out this topic:

There is a short video showing the strange noise.
Do you have a similar one?

Re: RT3S

Did You write codeplug over CPS?
After uploading opengd77 to radio You have to write the codeplug (create at least one channel, Zone and click write to radio).

Re: TYT MD-UV380 DMR Rx Missing

Why didn't I come up with this ;)
I turned on TYT and SDR RTL in parallel.
It took about 20 minutes for TYT to appear "noise" while the SDR played the normal voice.
Once Rx missed was also in the same time.

Re: TYT MD-UV380 DMR Rx Missing

It's sporadic for me too. Regularity is difficult to determine. Sometimes there is one Rx per hour, but sometimes it can lose two more at once. I'm using eco level 0, but every level has the same missing Rx. The radio can also sometimes decode noise as in the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19...

Re: TYT MD-UV380 DMR Rx Missing

TS Filter: Off, CC Scan: Off, DMR Filter: Off, Dashboard always seeing Tx - BER 0.1-0.2%.
I tried diffrent TG, both on TS1 and TS2. Once I changed TS Filter to ON, but it did not help.
Best wishes,

Re: TYT MD-UV380 DMR Rx Missing

I'm sorry, I didn't know that's important for genuine software that works well :| Hotspot duplex with Rpi Zero W and W0CHP-PiStar-Dash, but on pi-star the DMR Rx also missed. A colleague does not report the problem so as not to duplicate the post. I know how to calibrate correct. It's like the radio...
