ReteVis RT3S displays "OpenMDUV380" on startup screen

I used OpenMDUV380.bin (as recommended in "ALPHA TYT MD-UV380 / RT-3S Installation information" above) and everything works as expected - except for one little thing. I wasn't expecting to see "MDUV380" displayed on the startup screen, and in the menu item for "firmware version". Is there a version ...

Cookie Acceptance Required to access the forum

COOKIE ACCEPTANCE REQUIRED

I get this error when trying to access the forum with Google Chrome and Windows 10.

How do I accept the cookies policy? I can't find it.

Re: Boot tune can't be changed

It's not really all that long, maybe 5-10 seconds, but the thing is I couldn't change it even if I wanted. Besides, I can't share the codeplug with someone else unless I remove the morse code with my call sign. So why can't I delete or modify it? 35,4,0,2,32,2,0,2,32,2,0,2,33,4,0,2,32,16,0,2,34,4,0,...

Boot tune can't be changed

I created a boot tune for my GD77 with my call sign in morse code, but it takes a while and delays startup of the radio.

I have deleted or modified it every way I can think of, but it always comes back unchanged.

How can I delete or shorten it?

Re: ERROR - OUT OF BAND

With radio only, yes, I could choose No, Yes, or CPS. But turning limits off in CPS (they were off by default) had no effect until it was also allowed in the radio's menu settings for "Options".

Re: ERROR - OUT OF BAND

Thank you - I found the correct setting with your suggestion. Band limits are clearly turned off in my codeplug, but not so in the radio.

Options >> Band Limits: CPS

ERROR - OUT OF BAND

ERROR - OUT OF BAND I get this error whenever transmitting on FRS or VHF Marine channels, although they are easily within range for a GD-77. The hardware is certainly capable of transmitting on these channels, as it did with no problem before converting firmware from factory GD-77 to OpenGD-77. Is t...
