Re: FYI - GPS

I never received one BeiDou sat here. Cheers. --- Daniel Is it something in the NMEA output on the radio that indicates which type of satellite it is? I had some ideas to connect a laptop when I test and compare the satellite performance on the radios? I have no coverage inside my apartment so I ca...

the Excel file has been updated on Github. Please let me know if it work?

I still can't get GitHub to work, just manually replace the file. Very annoying.

Re: CUSTOM DMR Database

Excel file with source code, in case you wanna make your own version focusing on something that suite you. DMRID.xlsm Just click on the big-red-button "Download & Modify" and wait. After a while, you will get user.csv on your desktop. I got a "Run Time Error '1104': Application-defined or object-de...

Re: Baofeng DM-1701: diagram of the 2 speaker-mic pin

UPGRADE: Hi All, I bought a DM-1701 from less a month with an external "Shoulder Speaker Mic". Still before I modified this radio to opengd77 firmware, neither PTT and loudspeaker were working. In this days, I was able to test that not working microphone on my Baofeng-1701, with a Baofeng 888S: it ...

The beta4 works ok for me.
Both as a xxx. g77 and sv-import.

I guess your Windows doesn't use Swedish regional settings ?
I have to change to "English (United States)" if I want to import that style of CSV but it's no big deal.

I’m looking to get one of these as my first foray into DMR, is this codeplug for the radio with the stock firmware, or does it need OpenGD77 installed first?

Thanks in advance!
You need to install OpenGD77 first on the radio.

Re: RT3S power on "morse" callsign

Hi, Just curious, but does anyone else hear the callsign VK2GZ in morse when turning on the Retevis RT3S? I don't recall this happening prior to converting to the OpenDG77 firmware. It's not an issue, just curious, and wondering where the callsign is being generated from, i.e. the radio itself, the...
