Re: Wind noise on internal microphone

I tested on my RT3S ( Nov 17 2022 ) and I didn't notice any noise with internal microphone & antenna.

Do you hear some noise from the 9990 parrot ?

Re: New Beta version 2022 10 28

Loaded this newest FW for the MD-9600. Seems fine until I try and use the D key on the mic for 'latching' and then adjusting the power level. Seems that the D key no longer latches on a Long Press. Am I missing something or did something change in the Key configuration / assignments? AA3RP I think ...

Re: Radio Not Connected, or not in DFU mode

I installed STM32CubeProgrammer recently to uppdate my Malahit radio. After that I was unable to upgrade my RT3S , in device manager it was listed as a "Digital Radio in USB mode" with some other STM driver. Took some efforts where I tried various things to get the radio in DFU mode, at last I succe...

Re: ALPHA 2022-10-24-01

Hi! I have two questions. 1) How to record the adjusted parameters of the R3TS radio? For example, I have three RT3S radios with OpenGD77 installed. After resetting a radio's settings, how can I import configuration parameters from a configured radio and write the parameter to the reset radio. Is t...

Re: ALPHA 2022-10-24-01

Thanks for the work. Question The GPS icon is always present on the screen, even if the SETTINGS-GENERAL settings are set to Off (GPS-Off). Does not disappear from the screen. Does this mean that the GPS is not disabled and consumes an additional 50 mAh. 73! Possibly. I will check Message is not re...

Re: TYT MD-UV380 / RT-3S Installation information

Very nice, ordered a RT-3S from Retevis, hope that they doesn't changed the hardware. The OpenGD77 software gives a new dimension to the radios. My RT3S is about 2 years old, but I don't think the hardware has changed. I think TYT / Retevis, can continue to make these radios, because the supply sho...

Re: TYT MD-9600 / Retevis RT-90 : Experimental version

I needed to set the DMR mic gain to -9 dB , otherwise it was terrible overmodulated.
FM seems to sound good with 0 dB but I changed it to -3 dB now for some testing.

I also changed DMR RX AGC to +3 dB
