Re: Power supply for MD-9600
Checked on my MD-9600 and depending on frequency, high power ( 40 W ) can be slightly more than 10 A in FM. DMR is difficult to measure, the average current is much lower but I have no idea about the peaks. I run my MD-9600 on a 30 A supply which is more than enough. ( https://www.buytwowayradios.co...

Donor software download https://www.passion-radio.com/index.php ... chment=760
Extract and use file MD9600-CSV(2571V5)-V26.45.bin as donor software in CPS Firmware Loader.

Re: GD-77 Switch language to English
Maybe such language settings are kept somewhere else in the flash and set on the factory with some other customization tool?
Have you restored the old flash backup file?
Otherwise may be you can use the flash backup from another GD 77 that had English menus.

Wonder why they use 10 V/1A and not 12V ?, maybe the charger base can handle 12 V ? And that curved display cover is not the best,...

Follow the TYT MD UV380 / Retevis RT-3S instructions https://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2380 Except select DM-1701/ RT-84 as the radio Official 'donor' firmware is the same as the UV380 Note that the path to latest firmware now is https://www.opengd77.com/downloads/MDUV380_DM1701/Firmwar...

Re: Where to buy a MD-2017
BTW Does anyone have a link to the latest MD-2017 official firmware, either the TYT or Retevis version, i.e RT-84 Retevis seems to have removed the downloads for the RT-84 from their website and I can't find a copy elsewhere Noticed now that you probably mixed the Retevis names, I guess you really ...
