Hello,

When MD-9600 is set for reverse repeater operation (# key), the squelch is no longer changed to be fully open thanks to P1 (SK2) button. Fortunately Left or Right keys, still controls the FM squelch.

I noticed the same behavior on my RD-5R too.

Thank you for for your useful answer. I did not know or found the shortcut related to a long press on #. It works exactly as expected. It's even better, as it remains as a "stable" state. I have seen this feature through the quick access menu, but this shortcut is definitively faster ! 73 - Jean-Roger

Dear all developers team,

I have tried the SK1 + SK2 (P2 + P1) buttons combination from the front panel, but this seems not reversing the receiving frequency.
This is something working with the the RD-5R, maybe it does not apply at the MD-9600 ?

Thank you very much for this good new, and for your investment. I have just pushed the last beta version, and it works perfectly. I am no more annoying by the lost of settings.

I have recently bought a MD-9600 which was probably on the shelf for a long time (batch from 2213). The main result is that the backup battery is no more reliable.
