Re: DM-1801 TX prohibit
Just a thought of how to have the effect you are looking for. In the settings on the Radio Options make sure you have the Band Limits set to CPS. Then in the CPS define your frequency range to something you will not be monitoring. For example I would set the VHF to 174 to 175 MHZ and the UHF to 490 ...

Re: New Beta 2023 12 08
Well, thank you very much for your answers, but I have two relatives here that are constantly manual switching of simulation and DMR. Even if they are fake, they will greatly reduce the number of operations. If you need to listen on multiple frequencies, make channels for those frequencies and then...

Re: MD-9600 mic pinouts
Thanks Roger and Colin,
Given the information it seems best just to use the Audio out jack already on the back of the radio. Easier to do a custom two headed cable then to fiddle with the mic RJ45 connector.
Apricate the quick and concise response.

Re: MD-9600 mic pinouts
Colin, Thank for the background and info on the mic wiring for the MD-9600. I notice it only uses 6 of 8 possible wire positions. The question I have at this point is the RJ45 connector on the radio, does it have audio-out on either of pin 7 or 8. I have two reasons for asking. One is if audio out i...

Re: TYT MD-9600 discontinued?
I do not believe they have been discontinued, but holiday shopping, and as you say people are hearing about OpenGD77 running on them. There is good deal from R&L electronics in the US. A MD-9600 with a 30 amp PS included. https://www2.randl.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14_300&products_...

Re: MD-9600 mic pinouts
Thank you both for the timely response. Colin it seems the PDF files that I have of this schematic are bit scans of a print out as the lines are not totally clear or consistent. Do you have an original digital file of this schematic. The reason I ask is because I will be sending it to the person who...

MD-9600 mic pinouts
I have looked around and I have come across two pieces of information on the pinouts for the MD-9600 microphone / jack. Unfortunately they do not align. It would seem someone here would know exactly what the wiring of the RJ-45 for the microphone is. If possible may I be enlighten to such. I am look...

Re: APRS beacon testers needed
Just received a MD-390 with GPS which seems to work fine when I am out of the house. I get between 7 to 10 sats in 1 to 2 min from a cold start. My query is, are the files from 5-6 Oct 2023 for the CPS and firmware the ones I need for getting APRS up and started testing ? I have some GPS antennas a...
