Re: Is there any intention to continue this wonderful project?

It should be working. Did you enable it in the Options? Yes I did and have pi set to OpenGD77 In the radio you have to enable it in the Options and set to MMDM First of all Roger et all, many thanks for the hard work. This firmware is the reason I opted for a GD77 over other alternatives. The quali...

Re: Update 29th Jan

Everything has worked well with this version with one single exception. See image below where I'm seeing some error on the upper line of the screen. This is using a repeater, not a hotspot.

No need. I've found why.

Here is a version with the bugfix.

Cheers.

Re: Update 22nd Jan

I just encountered the weirdest of bugs with this update. After updating, according to the display the hotspot is in color code 3 even though Pi-Star is configured for CC1, see below

Re: Experimental changes to code optimisation

This version solved the dropout, hickup and and BER issues I was experiencing with the Jan 16th version. I hadn't noticed before but the way the information is presented with TA showing in hotspot mode is very good and clean almost making unnecessary having a NEXTION display for a RPi. Regarding sta...

Re: Update 16th Jan

Hello Roger. With this specific version, I'm experiencing a higher BER than previous versions. Right now at 1.2% and on the other end I'm getting reports of slight dropouts. The dropouts present themselves as well while listening. All of this is happening with GD77 as a hotspot, haven't had this iss...

Re: text message DMR

This happened to me with the local utility. I used HackRF and dspplus to check what was exactly being transmitted and realized a couple of things: 1. Their Motorola MOTORTRBO system sends a "ping" every couple of seconds. 2. Every couple minutes their system does a radio check. 3. For both cases, th...

Re: Test version that has default squelch for VHF,220Mhz and UHF

OK. I spoke too fast. When in DMR VFO mode, no filter, the radio is showing the TGs present in the TG List (even if the frequency is not associated with any known channel). Also, if on an unknown (not stored) frequency on VFO the TG is showing as an existing TG (it should be showing 0). To give addi...
