Re: Batch file to create your preferred DMR ID database
Looks like the MacOS version will require small hacks: dmr-filter.sh: line 56: [: -gt: unary operator expected Have of data, getting 43000 more from world-wide dmr-filter.sh: line 72: [: -gt: unary operator expected dmr-filter.sh: line 76: 48000-: syntax error: operand expected (error token is "-") ...

Re: Public Beta (2021 09 14)
Exciting to see ongoing work on the project! Question on Releases versus Betas. Will we see a Beta, evolve into a Release Candidate, and evolve into a Release? Or, are we going to a "Perpetual Beta" model? I'm not sure why you posted this comment. How long do you think it takes to beta test firmwar...

Re: GD77 OPENING TONES
I have tried to do it myself but it doesn't work out. If someone translate my callsign EC2UT into morse tones (convert to numbers) for the startup sound, I would be VERY grateful. Someone could / should write a short script that could accept your call sign as input, and output the call sign as the ...

Re: [From May 29th] New ongoing "Development" version has been created
First time with the new process, but basically easy peasy, lemon squeezy ! 1. Downloaded and installed the June 13 CPS 2. Download the zip file from from Radioddity, extract the GD-77_V4.3.6.sgl file. 3. Download the June 13th OpenGD77.bin File 4. Run the new CPS from the desktop 5. Connect the radi...

Re: [From May 29th] New ongoing "Development" version has been created
The May 29th is the most recent release version, the June 12th is the latest beta? Is that the correct way to look at things?
Put another way, if I want the most up to date, stable version, I should load May 29th, but if I want the most features, but possibly more bugs, use the June 12th version?

Deep Fake? Alleged May 18th version of Firmware?
On the facebook Open GD77 page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/OpenGD77 , one João José has posted files that he claims are the "May 18th, 2021 build" of the GD77 and DM1801 sgl files. He even posts a screen shot! Scam? Someone who did some changes to the code they grabbed before it was taken down?
