Ent did the trick, P1 didn't do anything. Suffice to say, all is well. Now to refresh my tired old grey cells on CPS.

Thanks for the helpful instructions. I now have OpenMD9600 fully operational.

Nest Issue:

The default screen on this radio says in a large window, settings update with a small OK in the bottom left corner, not the default vfo screen.

I received a new MD9600 yesterday, Version 2.1. Got it all set up with the official OEM CPS and loaded up an .rdt file that I have used on my GD77 with great success. Existing drivers worked fine in Win10 Pro. So, printed all the open firmware instructions and began that process. I get to the point ...

Sad that it has come to this situation. While I don't understand what happened here with licensing I do understand that amateur radio has lost a valuable resource. My version of CPS does not have an "update" feature so I am stuck with whatever version I downloaded last fall. Hoping to use my gd77 as...

Thanks Roger, Spent this morning uploading the Open GD77 firmware and have the Open GD77 CPS running fine. Was able to save my original ARRL All Ohio code plug in the new CPS and reload it back to the radio after the new firmware was ready. Next item on my to do list is learn the new feature set of ...
