[DIY: 3D Printed] Bottom charger part for hotspot electronics
[DIY: 3D Printed] Bottom charger part for hotspot electronics
Hi,
I've designed and printed the required parts to embed the hotspot in the original charger.
It's running since yesterday night without EMI problem (250mW).
I've uploaded all the STL and FreeCAD files to Thingiverse.
Enjoy.

I notice the copper plate is to stop RFI , the pi however is wifi, surely this will have a negative effect?

Hi,
Also, you can find a lot of people using some cheap Simplex MMDVM hotspot installed into aluminium case.
Cheers.

There is also a little piece of copper tape under the RPi. No, there is no huge impact, I wanted to avoid at most is the RF from the transceiver.
