Update 16th Feb
Update 16th Feb
There was a bug in the version I released yesterday that caused some audio problems.
So I've removed the change to the audio acceptance criteria, and this version now seems to work, according to everyone that has tried it

Re: Update 16th Feb
Thanks Roger
Re: Update 16th Feb
thank you, i didn't notice a bug lol
Re: Update 16th Feb
Thanks Roger.
Finally got to load up Open GD77 in the past week to start testing.
Was the audio issue a stuttering whilst receiving DMR signals?
Had noticed that with prior 'latest' when comparing local repeater side by side with a Whistler scanner.
Will load and test on this one.

Re: Update 16th Feb
I screwed up the logic that accepted the audio frames.
Different people seem to have different symptoms to this bug.
Some people, like me , didn't have any problems with it.
However, I think there is still something fundamental about the config of the C6000 DMR chip that's not quite right.
There are big chunks of data that I have observed the official firmware sending to the C6000 which are missing from the OpenGD77 firmware.
Conversely, I can remove some of the existing set-up data (which we don't understand) and it seems to make no difference to my radio.
Re: Update 16th Feb
if you want to reproduce the problem do not use a repeater, use any hotspot and you will surely hear the noise. just remember to put the previous version because the latter works well.VK3KYY wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 10:22 amI screwed up the logic that accepted the audio frames.

Duplex hotspot did not have any noise.
Perhaps is only simplex hotspots
