I've build a version based on master branch, including the modifications you're using, plus some cleanup, like sharing the same USB buffer as the CPS communication uses.
...
Daniel, does it mean that you have included changes in "latest" FW from today, plus your additions?

Thanks!
No, it's not included in the release Roger has made today.
At the same time, I've added something (still locally) to try to get rid of the ghost frame bug.

Cheers.

OK. I'll continue to test "your branch", so to call it temporary. ;)

Thanks Daniel.

Hi Marc, Marko,

Here is a test version. It may also fix the ghost frame bug (but sometimes it take long to trigger it).

So, this one uses latest code (just like the one Roger has released today), plus few enhancements/fixes in the hotspot code.

Marc: If this version works for you, I would like to build another one, later, with reduced buffer (memory is expensive here ;) ).

Cheers.

2/3 experimental update Re: Update 29th Jan

Downloaded and installed it now for testing v0.87.2.

This version is not cutting off the last tail of Parrot calls.

Thanks again! Marc

v0.87.2 has now been running for several hours without problem. I have had some active static talkgroups (like 3100) stimulating it regularly.

Cool. Thanks Marc.
I will post the other version with smaller buffer.

Cheers.

Here it is. It's based on the same code as the one from yesterday, I've only reduced a bit the USB TX buffer in this one.
I changed the version number to 0.0.87.3.

Cheers.

OK. Smaller buffer firmware loaded. Reporting V0.0.0.87.3
I've left the hotspot with the more active US talkgroup 3100 statically defined in Brandmeister, so it will get a workout (when I reloaded the firmware, the radio was warm, dissipating heat).

Okay Marc. I've also used the hotspot with active TG the whole day, I had to exchange the battery by the end of the afternoon 😉

Cheers.
