NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/27][GD-77][DM-1801][RD-5R]

Post by NA7Q » Sat Jan 04, 2020 4:36 pm

I would like to thank the admins for allowing me to post my builds on this forum for so long.

My builds will now be moving to the site below to prevent confusion with the official OpenGD77. Thanks everyone!

Updated to fix missing "TS" text on languages that are not english.

The Monitor setting is the "filter" for monitoring "Single" or "Double" (both) time slots.

thanks, took me a while to work out that I had to name my tg in the digital contacts to include other stuff than just tg91 etc and the menu list is in a different order but no big deal here, many thanks

I did change the menu order slightly. It made more sense to use this order by the more frequent use of these menus. Sorry for the confusion. Hope it works well for you!

The talkgroup names will be in the official firmware release, and other behind the scenes changes.
The menu layout and names that I have changed will not be the official release. These builds are more for my personal likes, that maybe I'll suggest to be in the official releases as I progress through things here and there.

I posts these, as others may like the minor changes I've made, and because these builds are more up to date than what have officially been built and posted via the GitHub repo.

To stop confusion with my builds, I've moved this to the General discussion section.

I am about to do a new release, but in general Alex, Colin Daniel and I are trying to bug fix and stabilise the code, which means that we are not likely to be any new features for a while.
