Latest version 30th December
Re: Latest version 30th December
sk2 also works with back light toggle so IMHO not an issue
Re: Latest version 30th December
I have the backlight set to auto so I didn't notice this, and I don't think Daniel noticed either.
Devoting SK1 purely to turn the backlight on and off was never intended to be the final solution, as the button is far too important just to allocate to the single function.
In the longer term we had planned to possible make SK1 part of the user definable functionality, so we'll need to live with some level of flux at the moment for the operation of SK1

yes, I also can't find a correct word for this function ... in the Italian translation I put "Auto-PTT" because it is the word that most resembles "automatic PTT". I don't know what name to give it ... .VK3KYY wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 8:37 amJust a thought, but I'm not sure about the name of the option to latch the PTT.
"PTT Toggle" doesn't seem the best name for this
I prefer "PTT latch" but perhaps there are other better names.
BTW. I noticed the Italian translation is "Auto-PTT" , which is quite unlike the English name.
I accept advice from Italian users
Re: Latest version 30th December
in English maybe "self-holding ptt"? but i dont know... mah
Re: Latest version 30th December
In Italian "latch-PTT" could translate to "Autoritenuta-PTT" but it is too long. I would say that for the moment we can write Auto-PTT Roger, then if someone finds a better word we change it.
Re: Latest version 30th December
Auto-PTT sounds cool
