Hi,

Out of curiosity, can you tell me the MMDVMHost version that is running on your Pi-Star ? (MMDVMHost -v result).

I'm asking you because I've made some quick tests, got some transmissions with packet loss, but the transmission is still active in that case.
FYI, i'm always using the latest code from G4KLX, for all MMDVM related softwares, unlike what is running on the official Pi-Star, which is really outdated most of the time.

Cheers.

@Daniel,

pi-star@pi-star(ro):~$ MMDVMHost -v result
MMDVMHost version 20200615_Pi-Star_v4 git #3313fe8

This is the same version running on the pi with the hat that doesn't lose the transmissions.

@Roger

I'm installing that version now and will monitor.

Thank you both for the help.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, I'd not heard that person on for a few days.

I can confirm the bug is still present on that version you asked me to test (https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 0.12.29.02)

OK.
That rules out a problem with the USB data rate

I wrote about the same mistake before.
For me, the Firmware version from 03/05/2020 works perfectly as a HotSpot. An error occurs in later versions.
I regret that the version dated 03-04. 2020 is no longer available (can't download)

Hi SQ7PTE, version R2020.10.60 (Stable, Release on 16th October 2020) doesn't have this issue if you need a downloadable version.
