There was one other change to the Calibration screen in this version, but no one noticed the bug for several years, so it is not a big problem for most people

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Because of the problems a few people were having with the power saving / Eco Levels functionality in the last Beta release, I have had to release a new Beta release to work-around those problems
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 1.02.16.01
If you loaded the previous Beta release and it worked OK. Don't load this version, as the power saving is not as good.

It would be very nice to know at least the most important changes from the previous beta. For example, there was a version with limited Power Save functionality because of keeping the DMR chip powered. How it's done in this version ? And what about beeps ? Are they working for negative levels (-3dB etc) ? Simply, if I'm using the Feb 8 development version and I'm happy with it, will I loose something going to this "sneak preview" ?
With regards / 73,

Many people here in Spain report a worst BER with hotspots, any of you have notice this ???
Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
A change to the PA control to improve spurious emissions seems to have caused an increase in DMR BER
This version reverts that change

Dear Daniel and Roger,
I just updated to the latest firmware given to Ian Spencer, DJ0HF and I sincerely want to thank you a million times for fixing the ordering of the channel name and mode. It makes the radio sooo much more efficient to use. I truely truely appreciate it as do the many others who wrote to me asking about this issue.
Thanks for all you do. I apologize for ever seeming ungrateful or picky but when you see so much progress in accessibility, you tend to jump on anything which looks like it is going in the wrong direction.

Hi Roger/Daniel,
One other voice prompt request when you have time, no rush, but in VFO mode, when pressing up and down arrow, is it possible just to announce the new frequency rather than VFO a on each press of up or down arrow? Again, it would make stepping through frequencies by step size much more efficient.
So, we do want to hear VFO a or b when you first toggle from channel to VFO mode, but when arrowing up and down, if you are going to say VFO a or b, please could it be after the frequency?
Much appreciated and again, no rush, just would improve user experience in VFO mode.
Thanks
Joe
