New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
I've loaded the 10/4/2020 firmware into both of my GD77 radios and everything is working well. The implementation of power level settings for individual channels is very slick in the Channel Details menu of the radio and also in the new CPS. Nicely done!

Thanks Rob,
I'm glad the user interface makes sense, as its a bit of a complex system under the hood...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
no the problem still exists ... if you wait a few seconds the rustle disappears and works regularly....
it lasts exactly as long as the vocal (in the background) synthesis heard in the rustle .... as soon as the voice ends, the rustle also ends

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
I've updated the release version to fix problems with the DTMF dialing and the channel power functionality, including changes to fix the power on the GD77s
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 2020.10.04
* Fix for DTMF dialing tail (F1RMB)
* Fix for possible incorrect beep type when changing power in Channel mode
* Fix for possible incorrect power announcements
* Multiple fixes for GD77S power, related to the channel specific power feature.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
There seems to be a bug in the 10/5 firmware that didn't exist in the 10/2 version.
If you are on a channel where you have saved the power level and then switch to VFO mode, upon returning to channel mode it will display the Master/default power level instead of the saved one. If you change channels and then go back it displays the correct saved power level.
It only does this when switching to VFO mode and back, not when just switching channels.

yes it seems to it even when staying on the channel, initial tx is at modified power, then it reverts to default
Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Good catch.
I hadn't tried transmitting to see what would happen.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Yes.
The latest unstable seems to have introduced a bug.
I'm not sure why.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
OK.
My bad. Some code needed for the GD77S was being run by the other versions.
On the GD77S I had to disable the channel power feature as there is no way to change the individual channel power from the buttons on the radio.
