I don't know why the quote, however but I do not use the beta, but the "BlueDV-9569-TEST" from 2019-12-07. ;)

many thanks for the quick responses guys

I have the latest blue dv but whatever I seem to do, it wont auto detect and manually selecting com port gets this.

win 7 32 bit here, is is because I'm using the tier 2 firmware??
Whenever I get those Unhandled Exceptions in Windows I found that deleting the folder BlueDV in my documents folder solved the problem. Of course you have to configure BlueDV again. I am not sure if this is about upgrading BlueDV over old versions. Perhaps uninstalling BlueDV before applying the next update may prevent this.

The problem had long since been resolved or was solved.

With the "BlueDV for Windows 9570" the installer has been revised and now this problem no longer exists.
The old version is now automatically uninstalled and the new version installed.

Achso, there is already the BlueDV-9572-preBETA ;)

Joerg, can you provide a link where you can track the next versions of BluDV for Windows?
