Looks like Radioddity is shipping the GD77 into Australia again.
And here’s a surprise, there is a sale going on too!

People have managed to buy the GD-77 last week, but Radioddity only had a limited number of radios with a big discount on Black Friday (I think only 30 worldwide), so the were gone in an instant.

I think the "30" is just an arbitrary/marketing number. I know several local (Philippine) hams who ordered, and with the potential market elsewhere, the number is certainly beyond 30. Maybe to create artificial demand?
And those that have been marked as "sold out" are still being sold at the same package price (the GD-77 for $69 and the GD-73 + hotspot for $109).
Which one/s are you keen on getting?

I don't need any more.
Someone at my club tried to buy one on Friday, but in the end they only got a small discount, because they were not quick enough.
And today I see more were on Sale for Cyber Monday, but its too late for people who bought on Friday.
