Upload error on the site

Post by NA7Q » Tue May 05, 2020 4:50 pm

I'm receiving this upload error when trying to post my builds.

Yep.

Out of hosting space.

It’s not practical for me to increase this.

I would go with what Roger has been doing for his releases and do the release on Github, unlimited space there. :)

Yep.

Forums are not the best place to store this sort of file, as they are 1/2 meg each, and over time the amount of space taken by these files gets surprisingly large, and is not sustainable over the long term.

Hence why I only every put the experimental SGL's on here, and kept the master copy on GitHub

On Github I also started to using the Releases system, because even on GitHub, putting the .sgl file in with the source files causes problems, hence why I switched to the Github releases system, as this doesn't store these large files in with the source code.

Understandable. Thanks! I'll start posting them from GitHub now.
