How to use/see Private Contact

Post by kt4lh » Mon Apr 06, 2020 11:54 pm

I've mentioned this before, but gave up on it, but I can not get private contacts to show up at all, nor can I seem to set an existing one to Private. Parrot on most repeaters is a Private contact and not a group one and won't work as Group. I've added a few private contacts into the radio here, and they save, and even give me a duplicate contact error if I try to add it again, but it doesn't show up anywhere, nor does it show up if I manually type in that talkgroup.

Am I misunderstanding how to use Private TG's on OpenGD77 is there a bug here? Could someone else try this?

Oh my, I had missed that; and yep it's right in the guide. Is there a menu way to get there? I know menu space is limited and everything added could limit future things etc, but that is a little obscure.

Thank you!

You can also get to it via the Contacts menu

Contacts->Contacts list -> Green key # key

However the Function +# is easier to get to
