Listening to the same TG in all TGs :-)

Hi all
have just installed OpenGD77
this question I guess it has something to do with "promiscuous mode" or similar
.I´m listening to a QSO on TG91
.I move to another TG
.I keep listening to the same TG91
.I move to any other TG and the one with activity is ON anywhere...
In my anytone seems to be easy, swapping digital monitor On and OFF

I´m not using a hot spot.

Any hint?

Thanks

Hi,

Click the top orange button and then scroll up to Filter: CC,TS (I believe this is the default setting)

Click the right arrow key and that should add TG.

Now you will be filtering for color code, time slot, and talkgroup.

Thanks Rob

Yes. The default is to listen on all TG's on a frequency.

You can additionally set it to listen only for contacts, e.g. so the radio only hears people you normally talk to, assuming you add them to the Contacts (not the DMR ID)

About the filtering, a good idea could be made a shortcut for change the filtering mode directly, without having to do the orange button, up , left or rigth and green, i dont know if this could be done, some like to blue button plus another key.
To make the change more easy, like the monitor mode.
Salut.

Both the SK1 and SK2 are both heavily used, so its not practical to move complex menu options onto those keys.
I'm already struggling to get the reverse repeater and also the channel details view (on SK1) and the change to the Rx TG (on SK2) working together.

The filter setting is stored in the nonvolatile storage system, so people who want to operate the radio in the old way, where they don't hear the other traffic on the repeater, can put it into that mode and leave it there.

We can't cater for people who's radios have broken buttons, e.g I know some people want all the functions from the Orange buttons available some other way. But if we follow that logic, we'd need to make the radio still work if perhaps the Green or Red button don't work, which is totally impractical
