Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?
Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?
I’ve spent quite a lot of time trying to create a zone for my local repeater containing all the brandmeister reflectors that I might want to switch to and use. Thus far I have failed to do it successfully.
At the moment when I want to switch to another reflector on the local repeater, I have to press # # 4401 followed by the green button, and then key the tx button for a second. This works fine, but I want to make it easier by adding all the reflector channels to a zone and giving them a name.
The question is, how do I add a channel that will do this?
Thanks, Tony

Re: Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?
Does your local repeater require you to use reflectors ?
I thought mostly repeaters support direct access to TG's purely by transmitting on that TG.
At the moment if you put all of those PC's for the reflectors into the CPS.
You could press Function + ##, and this would give you the PC list, where you could select the reflector and press PTT, then after you connect, if you press Function + RED, it takes you back to the TG prior to the PC you used for the reflector

Re: Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?
My local repeaters do everything on TG9 only. They only supports BM reflector numbers and no direct talkgroup access. It does however mean that talkgroups that have no associated reflector cannot be accessed at all. I understand that one such talkgroup is 3100 as I cannot find a reflector for this.
Most of the time I use Pi-star so it’s not much of an issue.

Re: Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?
i think 3100 is bm 4639
Re: Adding BM reflectors for local repeater?
4639 is talkgroup 91 worldwide
I don’t think 3100 has a reflector on brandmeister.
Thanks
