question about contact list behavior

If i upload contact list private contacts, radio will use talk alias, that is fine. but when no talk alias is available (example using repeater localy) then only id comes on screen even the contact is there existing on contact list.
do i have missed something, i cant find any information if this is even implemented yet to the software, or any plans?

It's only implemented if you select a TG or private ID for transmitting.
I already thought about while fixing the TG 0 bug.

It should be in this order:
- talker alias
- contact
- dmr id database
- id

I think possibly the DMR ID should be prioritised above the TA, or it should be a user preference

Not many people update their Self Care page on BM and hence you only get the callsign from TA
