Dear OM, please explain, what signaling do you want to add ? - or what extras signaling are you asking for OpenGD77 ?

I wish I could add a tone similar to the Motorola MDC1200 signaling tone

I would like to add a prompt tone similar to the MOTOROLA MDC1200 signaling tone
我希望我可以添加类似于摩托罗拉 MDC1200 信号音的音调

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDC-1200
MDC (Motorola Data Communications), also known as Stat-Alert, MDC-1200 and MDC-600, is a Motorola two-way radio low-speed data system using audio frequency shift keying, (AFSK). MDC-600 uses a 600 baud data rate. MDC-1200 uses a 1,200 baud data rate. Systems employ either one of the two baud rates. Mark and space tones are 1,200 Hz and 1,800 Hz. The data are sent in bursts over the radio system's voice channel.
The radio hardware does not support transmitting anything like this.

It also can't transmit APRS, which uses similar data

Hi!
I'm not sure, whether he wants really to implement the MDC-1200 signalling system. My opinion is, that he can't exactly describe, what he wants, because he wrote he wants the "Prompt tone simlar to MDC-1200". I suspect that he wants the Talk Permit tone simulating the tone from these Motorola radios, nothing more. But of course I can be wrong...

There is already a Talk Permit tone.

i.e when waking a repeater you won't get the tone until the repeater has woken up.

Simplex you get the tone staight way.

What is not suppoted is the Talk Permit Channel free / CC free system

Hello! You're right, that's what I meant, call end tone. Is the permission tone a repeater feedback tone, similar to the MDC-1200 signal system end tone, or a simpler end tone.
