This seems specific to a commercial operator in your area.

It is not practical for us to add support for this into the firmware because it would be a waste of the scarse program ROM space in these radios

We released the firmware source code so that people can build thier own custom versions for their own specific use case

You can estimate how much space this would consume in radio ROM?

I already see that the GRID of radio position is already in GPS info, basically you would just send this with the TA TX

Opengd77 firmware already does what I said, we just need to make some changes to the radio and codeplug
