[Resolved] Can't Update Firmware

I changed my GD-77 over to the open firmware back in August and find it very handy. I just went to update the firmware to the latest version using the latest Open GD77 cps. When I try to update to the latest stable firmware, I get an error that it won't connect into the radio. Yet, I am able to read the EPROM and code plug in the radio.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you put the radio into firmware update mode ?

That was it. I forgot that you need to set the radio into the update mode. Perhaps in a future version, a reminder in the CPS would be a great addition - especially for old people like me!

Yes. This is planned for the CPS, but we've not got around to doing it yet.
