Reporting Small bug: APRS transmission on RT-3S and DM-1701 writes APRS TX text over the channel name which is not erased. Either wrong line is written (and it should be one line bellow) or the text should be erased first.
I do not observe the "GPS problem" on my radios, but I did not do settings reset and my position has been set manually previously. Maybe it only happens if the position is unset (manually, by GPS)?
Ok.
I did not notice this

The bug seems to be on the Channel screen but not the VFO

Umm
Looks like a bug caused by the changes to the Languages system, I'll add that bug to the To Do list

And another question - when flashing, it is necessary to choose an additional language, otherwise the recording does not occur. Is this done on purpose or is it a mistake?

No additional language should be necessary, but there was a bug in the STM radio firmware loader
I've just fixed that problem.
Please use
downloads/CPS/Latest/OpenGD77CPSInstall ... .04.01.exe

Roger,
The 'Latest' link in the first post is still pointing to the previous version.
Colin.
It's pointing ok for me
Perhaps the page is cached
Hi Roger,
Yes, it seems OK now. I guess it was a cached page as you said.
Colin.

I've now added some meta headers to all those pages, so that the don't get cached in the future
PS.
I've also fixed the CPS STM32 loader bug if no language was selected, but I"m still looking at the tx locking problem if the channel has an APRS configuration but no location has been set

First of all, thanks for a great job. I have a question, maybe quite basic, how do I update my current version of opengd? Do I have to do everything like during the first installation? Should I also give the donor firmware and a separate opengd? I understand that I leave the codeplug because it will already match and there is no need to upload a clean one during the installation. Will all settings be deleted? Thanks in advance for your help
CPS remembers the Donor firmware
Codeplug did not change unless you have APRS configuations. If you had an APRS configuations you need to use the new CPS and make new APRS configuations becasue the old ones will be removed by the CPS because they would not be compatible with the new CPS and new firmware
