A new Beta version if now available

This version has the following changes

* Fixes problem with satellite APRS frequencies

* Adds Safe Boot mode (SK1 + 0) to be used when the radio will not bootup or bootloops.
* Fixes incorrect power level display on 10W radio versions
* Updates translations
* Fixes scan frequencies range boundary display problem
* Fixes voice prompt problem when replaying a prompt
* Fixes possible hanging problems associated with I2Cinternal bus contention
* Workaround for bugs in the C6000 DMR chip

All these changes were made by Daniel F1RMB, so thanks goes to him and the varoius translators and people who have reported bugs and helped Daniel test his fixes

Hello ;) Note that the stable firmware version the screen completely covers the pixels but in the beta versions there is an uncovered strip with black pixels ... I don't know if it is an error to improve visibility ... thank you 73

No context, no details, should I mention the rest ?.

From my guesses, you're using a DM-1701.
What you see is NOT a bug.
Flash the RT-84 image.

I thought there was some strange error... great work, no doubt about the firmware.
Thanks.
I put the image of the 1701 in both cases (stable and beta) and that screen difference appears on the baofeng 1701 cpu tyt

edit in the post and indicate radio baofeng 1701 thanks

Yes, I noticed that, then edited mine.

Still, flash the RT-84 image. Vast majority of the DM-1701 has a problem with the LCD panel/bezel position/overlap, so the 8 top lines are skipped to make the header more visible.
Since your DM-1701 don't suffer of this, use the RT-84 FW, as it uses the whole LCD panel (that's the only difference between the two firmware files).

Cheers.

Thank you. Great updates. Any way to make the 390 plus brighter? Very dim after updates. Thanks

Hi,

With this version, at 100% the backlight don't use the PWM anymore, so it can't be brighter than that.

Cheers.
