Updated to the latest code.
Hi Mike,

great work that you have done, thx.

What do you think of reverting the new functionallity of the up arrow (scan start) back to scroll up for VFO and channel mode as it´was before?
IMHO this is a disatavantage in Rogers build.
Escpecially as scan start is still on the organge button in yours.

I completely agree with you. Which is why I left the orange button to initiate scan mode and activate the scan. The blue side key + 1 still initiates the scan mode, but does not start the scan currently. I personally don't like the up arrow function because it is too easy to accidentally activate. I've done it countless times. I may likely revert this for both VFO and Channel mode.

Hi Mike,

Thanks.

Wasn't it possible to return the long press up arrow in channnel mode to scrolling again, rahter than start scanning?

I haven't had time to dive into it yet. So this build is just an update with the latest bug fixes and general code changes. This week I should be able to take a look at it and see what I can do.

I'm purely curious; what's the issue? Before long press up just slowly went up through the list right? Seems a lot more useful to have scan attached to it. Also the more deviation from the main branch the slower any custom ones are, with all the merges and conflicts.

For me it's not at all about if scanning is more useful than scrolling up, but that now there's simply no way to scroll up at all, other than by mashing the up button repeatedly.

It is just not possible to scroll up through large zones IMHO a really draw back.
Why not using fex long press green button for scanning?

Okay, so here's the "beta" version of the new scanning method. Up/Down has been restore to a "scroll" like function in Channel and VFO mode.
Scan is enabled by long pressing GREEN in both modes and starts by long pressing green. VFO scan mode is disabled by long pressing RED.

Channel Mode scan can also still be enabled by long pressing 1.
Both Channel and VFO mode can use the quick menu to open and start scan when selecting scan with the Green button. Double tapping Orange does not enable scan in VFO mode (yet), but does in Channel mode.

Let me know what you think? I think this is my preferred way of scanning now.
