I have seen another thing:

During the scanning on VFO mode, if the Scan option is set on "STOP", it is not possible to go on scanning or even step the frequency up as long as the squelch is open.

Ok. I don’t think this is a new bug, but I agree it should be possible to step even if the squelch is open

Up and running on a GD77 in hotspot mode, a couple in voice mode and a couple DM1801s in voice mode.

Audio on the DM1801 seems slightly tinny and soft compared to a GD77. I tried setting digital audio gain to 20 and 25 and it helped a little.

Another little bug:

If I listen to a DMR station on VFO/DMR then switch to MR (with the red button) the screen goes on displaying the old VFO info (only if the station was still transmitting when I switch to MR)

Just raised a PR for the fix of this one.

Thanks for the report.

Cheers.

I just checked this.

You can step if there is a signal, but you can't start a scan on a frequency that is busy.
This is not a change a change to the functionality.
Its never been possible to start scanning on a frequency that is busy.

Just press the Up or Down arrow to step to a frequency which is not busy, then start the scanning.

You can't scan when the squelch is open, because the radio uses the squelch threshold you set, to determine how sensitive the scan is.

I think there is a small bug, where you have to press the Down arrow twice to exit scan mode, and also when stepping Up then Down then Up, you need to press the Up (or Down key) twice, when changing step direction.

However, these are features more than bugs.

OK Roger
During my test, I was not able to easily jump to the upper frequency. I could only jump to the lower's one. I had to press several times the arrows and try by chance down, up or left to be able to jump again to a higher frequency. Let's say the handling is not intuitive, especially since with the other scanning modes it is enough to press once the up button.
Finaly I took the antenna in my hand for the squelch to close... then quickly press the up arrow ;)

Just press the right arrow while not scanning, to close the squelch

hi all,
it seems to work well, however sometimes it still goes to transmit on the other time slot when resuming the transmission before the repeater queue falls. today during a qso of about an hour it happened to me 2 times. if you let the repeater queue fall and you go on tx after 2 or 3 seconds, I could see that the problem does not occour.

This happened to me about 3 weeks ago.

So it’s more likely to be a bug that is intermittent in the previous version.

Does it happen all the time ?
no, it doesn't always happen. it only happens a few times and only if you transmit when the repeater queue has not yet fallen.
