Tested the 3/22/2020 Firmware loader on both a GD-77 and a DM-1801.
Detect worked properly.
Download and flash worked properly for both radios.
Platform here is Win 10 64 bit, Version 1909 OS Build 18363.720.

Now, if you want to test the detection and/or download/flash, unzip the attached file, and install it like this:
Code: Select all
cd <where the rules file is located>
sudo cp 99-gd77.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
Now you can replug your GD-77 on your laptop.
Cheers.

GD-77 is the fallback model.
The software try to detect your HT when it starts. If it fails, the GD-77 will be selected.
So, you need to click on the "Detect Radio Type" button.
Cheers.

Worked well, no better than well - great!
Windows 7 Ultimate on an old Acer AspireOne netbook.
Thanks for a more convenient way to stay updated.
