TG filter on RX works fine - many thanks :-)

But i miss in the contact-screen the function "contact list" - possible a bug?
Umm.

Thats strange.

I've not changed the Contact screen, but I see its now just displaying "New contact" 2 times.

This bug was probably in one of the previous releases, but I'll double check

Edit.

Its been caused by the New channel functionality.

New texts have been added into the section in the translation file which are used by the Menu system.

I'll need to put a comment into the translation file to warn people they can't insert new items in the top of the list, and I'll need to move the "New channel" text in all the localisation files :-(

Why not reverse DMR (in header) when TG filtering is OFF, like TS does (yeah, DMR isn't a TG ;) )
I think this would need to be the other way around.

Because otherwise in DMR the normal setting would be not to filer TG, and the letters would be inverse video, but for FM the text is always normal video.

Personally, think its more in the spirit of Ham Radio to hear all TG traffic by default.

TS. I know TS filtering is On by default, but this is a bit more complex, because its like 2 channels on the same frequency, so would not be possible to listen to them both at the same time.

So I vote for making the DMR text into inverse video when TG filtering is Enabled

Yeah, no problem, it was just an idea for this, instead of TSG thing.

Cheers.

I am implementing the inverse video DMR now.

TSG is no good because it wont fit, as it would need to be TS1G or TS2G

PS. I'll fix the other bug caused by the texts for the New Contact and I'll put some more comments into the localisation files to prevent that bug happening again.

I've implemented the inverse video on the DMR text when TG filtering is enabled.

It also flashes correctly when scanning ;-)

These code changes have been pushed to GitHub

Tested the experimental TG filtering V2 firmware - RX is all fine, but I've encounter another problem:

In my contacts i've the BM echotest (Parrot - PC at ID 262997 here in Germany) with a channel TS override to repeater slot TS2.
However, the Radio transmit on TS1 instead of TS2.

Last testet the PC BM parrot at the Update 7th Feb - then it transmits on the correct timeslot TS2 as set in the codeplug.

Occasionally transmitting on the wrong TS is an intermittent bug in many previous versions.

It works for me. Thanks!

This is a feature (TG filtering option) that is important to me here in the US Pacific North West.
Our "PNW" system is comprised of about 50 repeaters and 7 MMDVM servers with 20+ talkgroups

While there are times I like to listen to ALL or any traffic, some times it is just too much.

the filter setting did catch me off-guard. it appeared to still filter old TG when it was shifted into MMDVM Mode
and therefor ignored my transmissions to it on a different TG
